"Eruption in the Hills" is one in a series of monotypes I created upon returning from my trip to Rwanda, Africa the summer of 2011. The work is a deep reflection into what I felt, saw and learned while spending time visiting this beautiful, tiny country that has been through so much and has risen up through the darkness of the genocide.
